S6E137 Resilience and Rebirth: The Inspiring Journey of Womb Shaman Megan Rose
Saturday Dec 09, 2023
Saturday Dec 09, 2023
Life is a journey filled with highs and lows. For Megan Rose, this journey involved overcoming significant adversities such as early sexual trauma, a terrifying cervical cancer diagnosis, and an abusive relationship. But Megan didn't stop at just surviving; she has managed to turn her pain into a purpose by becoming a trauma coach and womb shaman, helping others navigate their way through trauma and toward healing.
The Path to Acknowledging Emotional Pain and Depression
Megan Rose's journey towards healing began with an acknowledgment of her depression. Growing up in a family where mental health was overlooked, Megan found strength in acknowledging her feelings. It was the first step in her journey of healing and self-discovery.
Megan Rose's Journey as a Womb Shaman
In her role as a womb shaman, Megan helps women reconnect with their bodies and heal from sexual trauma. The womb, she believes, is not just about reproduction; it is also a place of creation, of empowerment, and self-actualization. Megan uses her experiences to guide women towards healing, emphasizing the importance of listening to our inner voice as a compass in our journey.
Trauma Coaching and Somatic Healing
Beyond being a womb shaman, Megan is also a trauma coach. She employs somatic healing, a technique used to release stored trauma in the body. She believes in the importance of this technique in dealing with trauma, as it incorporates both scientific and spiritual aspects. The technique has been beneficial in her own healing process and has become a significant part of her trauma coaching.
The Link Between Sexual Trauma and Financial Struggles
Interestingly, guest speaker Megan and host Gemma Serenity have observed together a connection between sexual trauma and financial struggles. In her work, Megan emphasizes the importance of clearing energy in the root and sacred chakras, which are associated with safety and financial security. This often overlooked link serves as a reminder of the far-reaching effects of trauma and the need for holistic healing.
Empowering Others to Embark on Their Healing Journey
Megan's work is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. She has managed to transform her pain into a tool for healing others, offering validation and understanding for those who may not be ready to leave an abusive situation, reminding them that everyone heals at their own pace.
Megan Rose is a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for those grappling with trauma. Her journey serves as a reminder that it's not about how many times we fall, but how many times we get back up. Her resilience and determination to heal herself and others is a powerful message of empowerment.
Her healing services and programs are available on her website, MeganRoseHealing.com. She extends an open invitation to all who wish to embark on their journey of healing and self-discovery. In the end, Megan's journey from adversity to empowerment is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Her story reminds us all that healing is not just about survival but about transformation and rebirth, hence the title of her episode: Resilience and Rebirth
Megans’ bio

Using tools such as Reiki, Shamanism, Channeling, Soul Retrieval, Breathwork, Meditation, and Somatic Experiencing, she comes from a scientific as well as a spiritual perspective.

S6E136 Warrior of Resilience: Inside Martha Schoenewe’s Inspiring Transformation
Wednesday Dec 06, 2023
Wednesday Dec 06, 2023
This episode is a potent mix of resilience, empowerment, and transforming adversity into opportunity. Truly, a must-listen!
I, Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff, am honored to share an incredible journey I was privileged to hear of recently. I sat down with Martha Schoenewe, a lady with a powerful spirit, who shared her experiences of enduring multiple forms of abuse. Martha grew up in the shadows of narcissistic abuse, survived an abusive marriage, and even faced physical assault in the military. This episode is a testament to her resilience as she discovered the power of deep inner healing and the support of a compassionate community to break free from the chains of abuse.
Our conversation takes a crucial turn towards military sexual trauma, a deeply affecting issue that impacts countless women in service. Our guest, a former military member, musters the courage to discuss her personal encounter with sexual abuse and its lingering effects on her mental health. Amidst the shadows of her past, she found a beacon of hope when she started doing what she hated the most: running, until she would come around to love it.
As she is a Plus Size, she wanted to find athletic apparels that would fit her and be the same design as her running team. She waited for a few years to see if anybody would fill that void in the athletic gear industry, and as nothing showed up, she decided to launch her business, Tangent Tee's, a platform that unites individuals from all walks of life through inclusive athletic apparel including plus sizes.
Martha is a beacon of hope who has transformed her traumatic experiences into a driving force for success, connecting communities and inspiring many people along the way.
Martha's short bio
Martha is a US Navy veteran, mental health advocate, business owner, and nonprofit leader. With a Masters in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management, as well as earning her PMP certification, she is dedicated to helping our communities access essentials and connecting people.
She works for the San Antonio office of Paws for Purple Hearts as their Site Manager, where professional service dog trainers help provide canine-assisted therapy to veterans with PTSD and other injuries, as well as train service dogs for disabled veterans.
