When echoes of a tumultuous past give way to a symphony of empowerment, Kerri Lewis' tale stands as a beacon of transformation. In a raw and revealing conversation, Kerri takes us through the labyrinth of her life, marked by the scars of abuse and the shackles of addiction. Her journey is one of courage and conquest, where the love for her twin sister and the sorrow of losing her older sibling serve as her inner drive toward a new chapter in her life. Her story, weaving through childhood's dark alleys into the light of self-acceptance, demonstrates the profound impact of authenticity on recovery and the ripple effect it has on those around us. Kerri's experiences remind us that to navigate the treacherous waters of our own struggles, we must first anchor ourselves in truth and self-awareness.
This episode is an exploration of the soul's resonance when we dare to harness the energy within and redirect it toward healing and growth. We uncover the intricate dance of emotions and energies that define our existence, recognizing that our darkest moments often harbor the seeds of our greatest strengths. As Kerri illustrates the power of personal symbols, like skulls transforming from a sign of darkness to one of protection, we are invited to reflect on our own symbols of transformation. The narrative culminates in a call to action, beckoning us to embrace the challenging work of self-reflection, to heal our wounds, and pave the way for a life enriched with love, generosity, and compassion. With Kerri as our guide, we're offered a map to chart a course through the tumult of our past, towards a future where our true selves are not just acknowledged, but celebrated!

Hello there, Gemma is speaking.
When the weight of the world's suffering pressed heavily on my shoulders, a conversation with author Anikka McKeever shed light on a path through the darkness. Together, we journeyed into the tender and painful question of where the Divine resides when pain and injustice seem to reign, especially for the innocent ones among us. Our discussion took an illuminating turn as we engaged with spiritually elevated beings, who urge us to look within and grasp our role as architects of our existence. They implore us to recognize our power of free will and the solace found in the divine forgiveness offered through Jesus Christ's sacrifice, providing a fresh perspective on the role of a higher power in our lives.
Navigating the complex terrain of belief and the presence of evil, we discovered a divine expression in the biblical story of Moses and the Burning Bush, which reveals God's timeless essence. Through personal narratives, including a heart-wrenching story of a young girl's abortion after repeated rape from her priest, we grappled with the deafening silence of God in moments of despair. This chapter of our lives illuminated the truth that such silence can be an invitation to grow, to deepen our trust in forgiveness, and to protect our spiritual well-being. We found gratitude for the chance to explore these spiritual pathways and share them with you, which has culminated in the anticipation for continued explorations into faith and the divine journey ahead.

S7E155 Five decades later, the truth finally comes out with Regina LaFrance
Saturday Feb 17, 2024
Saturday Feb 17, 2024
Regina LaFrance returns with a candid reflection on her path to healing, a beacon of hope for those grappling with their own shadows. Our latest episode takes an intimate look at Regina's story of transformation, beginning with her courageous act of writing a book that not only narrates her personal journey but also serves as a cathartic release from her traumatic past. Through the eyes of her fictional character, Shayla, Regina exposes a history marred by abuse and the crushing burden of silence that so often accompanies it. Her experience, heartbreakingly common yet uniquely her own, unveils the dark consequences of molestation and the incredible resilience and faith required to overcome them.
Listen as Regina shares the tumultuous chapters of her life that she bravely lended to her fictional character, Shayla, from the painful reality of aborting a foetus conceived during molestation at age 10, to her bold move to the United States at 18, where she pursued a life of purpose and passion. As Regina recounts her educational triumphs and professional milestones, the conversation illuminates the profound effects of trauma on self-esteem and the relentless pursuit of belonging. Her journey is punctuated by the discovery of self-love and the significant role of mentorship in her life, shedding light on the necessity of supportive networks and positive influences for those in the throes of healing.
Concluding this powerful exchange, Regina's story bends toward the hopeful horizon of protection and advocacy for children. Her commitment to spreading a message of self-empowerment and her emphasis on the role of forgiveness in the healing process resonate deeply. As we wrap up, we're left with a lasting impression of Regina's strength and a reminder of the indomitable human spirit. Her experience is a roadmap for survivors and a call to action for all of us to foster love and forgiveness in our world, as well as active listening of our children.
When our children are pleading to not go to a certain person or a certain environment, they may be fending for themselves without telling you the truth of what they experienced, and they may not even have the words to express such traumatic experiences when this is what it is about. Regina invites all parents to actively listen and open their heart to receiving these cues that something may be off with our children, when that's the case.
Regina's bio
Regina LaFrance is the author of SHAYLA, the new semi-autobiographical novel inspired by real events that deals with child abuse and finding emotional freedom. An incredible journey that reads like a movie! Regina’s book is a calling and a movement dedicated to survivors of abuse. Regina LaFrance's Vision with the publication of this book
What Regina and Tany are manifesting, at the time of the publication of this episode, is a movie deal to bring to the big screen the horrific story of SHAYLA, so that parents may wake up to the silence of their children, and what they might be going through. Instead of creating out of your imagination horror stories, you may as well pick up real stories and make a movie out of them to help the world wake up to the harsh reality to what too many people are oblivious.
If you can or have access to someone who has the ability to create a movie based on this book, please reach out to Tany Soussana directly at tany@epicontent.com

Let's introduce a special episode that promises to touch your hearts and inspire your minds. This episode is all about transformative journeys and the power of hypnotherapy, RTT, and NLP to break through through our memories, traumas, and old stories, and to rewrite our entire life for the present and the future.
We are honored to have Carolyn Boras as our guest speaker, today. She will be sharing her own story, highlighting her journey from surviving emotional abuse, a violent rape, all the way to her way of dealing with it to finally discover self-empowerment. Carolyn is a beacon of strength and inspiration. Her experiences and insights promise to provide invaluable guidance to all who are struggling to overcome their own shadows, traumas, and dark sides.
Our episode today is aptly titled "Overcoming Shadows of the Past to Reinvigorate Life's Purpose with Carolyn Boras". To learn more about Carolyn and her work, explore her website https://carolynborashypnotherapy.com/
Join us as we delve into the intricacies of emotional healing and rediscovery of life's purpose at 69 years old.
Carolyn's bio in her own words
Both of my parents were alcoholics. There were 5 kids in the family. On the outside we were the perfect family. We even won an award called "The Master Farm Family".
On the inside, there was absolute chaos. My mother was THE alcoholic. I think my father became one in order to survive living with her. There was definitely emotional abuse . My mother was absolutely cruel when she was drinking. My siblings and I were all doing our best to survive in that family. I was given the nickname "ugly" by one of my siblings. I thought it was true because this would occur when we were sitting around the dinner table, my parents were present and yet they did nothing to correct it. If my parents didn't say anything, then surely it must be true. And what impact did that have on my self-esteem??
A few years later I was sexually assaulted. As it was happening, I remember thinking that I really wasn't surprised because this sort of thing only happens to ugly girls and I was ugly, right? It took me 15 years to finally get some help.
I couldn't ignore the panic attacks any longer. My message is that help is available! I am now a RTT Practitioner (Rapid Transformational Therapy) and Certified Hypnotherapist, and I'll be happy to assist you in person and virtually.

Regina LaFrance joins me with a courageous heart, sharing the deeply personal account of her childhood, marred by the abuse of a trusted priest in Portugal, and how it cast long, dark shadows on her sense of self and ability to form relationships.
